CODE OF CONDUCT

Lotus Club Victoria Inc. (LCV) aims to promote enjoyment of the Lotus marque for the member community through social events, touring, competition and ownership advice. The club is promoted as a social and friendly organisation.

All members, partners and officials of the Club shall be bound by this Code of Conduct
 

Members of the club have a right to:

  1. Be treated fairly, equally and with respect by the club and other members.
  2. Socialise in an environment free from all forms of harassment and discrimination.
  3. Be informed and actively involved in all club events and offerings
  4. Voice their opinions, requirements and suggestions to the committee.

Members must:

  1. Treat other members, guests, officials, staff of venues and other patrons where an event is being held fairly, equally and with respect and courtesy.
  2. Behave responsibly and ensure they conduct themselves in a manner which will not injure the reputation of the club, its events, officials, participants or sponsors.
  3. When engaging in a LCV activity, not to drive in a reckless, dangerous or inconsiderate manner such that the reputation of the club or the Lotus brand is brought into disrepute.
  4. Not physically or verbally harass other members, staff of venues. participants, sponors or general public.
  5. When posting on forums or social media, whether LCV sponsored or not, the member will not engage in criticism of other members, officials, staff or repeated criticism of the club.
  6. Report any inappropriate behaviour of a member to a committee member or the club president, or if it relates to the club president, then to the vice president.
  7. Abide by and uphold this Code of Conduct.

Breaches of this code of conduct:

  1. Any member not behaving in accordance with the terms of the Code of Conduct at an event of the club may be asked to leave the event, venue or meeting.
  2. The inappropriate behaviour of any members will be investigated, discussed and an appropriate course of action will be taken by the committee, in accordance with the Rules of The Association.

A small administrative fee may be payable for the provision of information.
